INGREDION MAKES THE PLANT-BASED PROTEINS THAT FEED THE VEGAN FOOD INDUSTRY

Late last year, Ingredion signed a joint venture with Canada-based Verdient Foods, a company jointly owned by PIC Investment Group, award-winning director and vegan activist James Cameron and his wife, Suzy Amis Cameron.

The partners are investing in Verdient’s Saskatchewan plant to boost production of protein flours and concentrates from a range of pulses including peas, lentils and fava beans.
