On the movement: OKC native Suzy Amis Cameron returns to hometown to tout her new book

An environmental activist, mother of five and now author, Suzy Amis Cameron is always on the move – and now she is determined to start a movement.

“We’re already in seven different countries, and just a couple of weeks ago, we sold it to all the Spanish-speaking countries. So, I’m a girl on the go for sure. But my top priority was to make sure that I was able to come back to my hometown and do a big promotion for my book,” Cameron told The Oklahoman on a recent Saturday morning as she sipped jasmine tea at a picnic table outside the OSU-OKC Farmers Market.
